District 213 Toastmasters Leadership Team

The District Trio

In Toastmasters, the District Trio is the three-member executive leadership team responsible for leading the entire district. They function much like the executive leadership team of an organization, setting direction, overseeing operations, and ensuring the district achieves its goals.

District Director (DD)

District Director Duties
  • Provides overall leadership and strategic direction.
  • Chairs the District Executive Committee (DEC).
  • Oversees all district operations.
  • Represents the district to Toastmasters International.
  • Focuses on the district's overall success, membership experience, and achievement of district goals.
Larry McClelland, DTM

Program Quality Director (PQD)

PQD Duties
  • Leads educational programs throughout the district.
  • Oversees Club Officer Training.
  • Coordinates speech contests.
  • Supports Area and Division Directors in helping clubs improve quality.
  • Plans district conferences and educational events.
  • Works to help clubs earn Distinguished Club Program (DCP) goals.
Valecia Lokey, DTM

Club Growth Director (CGD)

CGD Duties
  • Leads efforts to start new clubs.
  • Helps struggling clubs become healthy again.
  • Develops membership-building strategies.
  • Oversees club extension, club retention, and club marketing initiatives.
  • Supports clubs with membership growth campaigns.

The District Executive Team

The District Executive Team supports the District Trio by managing the day-to-day operations, communications, finances, technology, logistics, and member services that keep District 213 running smoothly. Working alongside Division Directors and committee leaders, this team provides the infrastructure and support that enables clubs, members, and district events to succeed. Together, they ensure the district remains organized, connected, financially responsible, and focused on delivering an exceptional member experience.
